Firstly, the low-bed semi-trailer is usually used to carry heavy objects such as tractors, buses, special-purpose vehicles, rail vehicles, mining machinery, forestry machinery, agricultural machinery (excavators, loaders, pavers, cranes, etc.). Compared with container semi-trailers, it has a lower center of gravity, better stability and safety, and therefore has a better ability to pass over elevated obstacles when transporting high goods. When loading machinery onto a low-bed semi-trailer, we usually load the machinery from the rear of the low-bed semi-trailer, which means we usually remove or unload the wheels from the rear wheel set, and then fix the machinery to the low-bed trailer.
Generally, the low-bed semi-trailer adopts a concave beam frame. The front part of the frame is the goose neck (note: the front end of the goose neck is connected to the traction saddle on the tractor, and the rear end of the goose neck is connected to the semi-trailer). The middle part is the cargo platform (the lowest part of the frame that we know), and the rear part is the wheel set (including wheels).
First, let's take a look at the jack of the low-bed semi-trailer. This is not unfamiliar to the owners of low-bed semi-trailers and fence semi-trailers, but some precautions need to be taken during use to prevent accidents. The support rod on the jack arm should be inserted into the groove of the fixed support point to fix the jack. The kilograms should be lifted at the designated support position, otherwise it may cause damage to the low-bed semi-trailer, box semi-trailer and other vehicles or accidents. The jack foot must be supported on a hard pavement. If the ground is soft, some wooden blocks can be used to bear the weight, and do not support it directly on a soft ground. The jack should be lifted slowly, and cannot be removed directly. Pay attention to the balance of the vehicle.
Next is the drive shaft of the low-bed semi-trailer. The drive shaft is responsible for transmitting power to the wheel unit, and its main function is to prevent damage to the low-bed trailer during driving. Since the drive shaft uses a patterned constant velocity universal joint, and the joint part uses a rubber seal, if the rubber seal is damaged, during the operation of the low-bed semi-trailer, skeleton transport container semi-trailer, debris will enter the joint universal joint, causing wear on the drive shaft and affecting the service life of the drive shaft. Maintenance of any vehicle is not unfamiliar, without maintenance, the service life of the vehicle will be greatly reduced.
